Recently, flood threats have been talked about all over the country. We watch the floods of the Bug River, the Narew River, the Biebrza River and others. Sometimes they cause a lot of damage. This is not an everyday phenomenon. Our little river Sidra also floods from time to time. These floods did not cause any damage. They are quite spectacular. Now this winter flood lasts quite a long time. Taking advantage of the short glimpses of sunlight, I took some photos. Not everyone has the opportunity to watch it. There were larger floods of Sidra, but always during spring snowmelt. There has been no heavy snowfall for many years, so spring floods have not occurred.

I feel a bit sorry for the moles in the meadows, whose huge mounds were visible. The water probably completely submerged them. There are no waterfowl because it is still winter. Well, on Friday, February 9, I heard the cries of cranes from the nearby swamps. Is spring just around the corner?
