Until January 14, we had definitely autumn weather. There weren’t even frosts. The winter season began from that day. First, heavy and wet snow fell. Then came a slight frost. Then every day new fluffy snowfall. It has fallen almost 0.5 m. A one-day thaw came, but the snow only slightly melted. A new wave of severe frosts began, even below -20 degrees Celsius. In addition, the wind started to fall, snow began to fall and we had a blizzard. It has not been so long ago. All roads had filled up and traveling was impossible. We still have frosty days and slight snowfall. It’s not easy for wintering birds. We feed them. Hopefully they’ll make it through spring.
