It is difficult to count how many times it has snowed this winter. After a few days, it melted each time. Today we have new snow again. We did not live to see much frost. Lots of moisture. I wonder how this aura affects wintering birds. There are days when birds don’t even come into the feeders. The number of species this year is smaller than usual. Even the ubiquitous woodpeckers are very few. The last winter month begins tomorrow. The days are clearly longer and brighter. Will there be real winter weather yet?
