The Black-veined Moth (Siona lineata) is a moth of the family Geometridae. It is found throughout Europe. The wingspan is 35-40 mm. The moth flies in one generation from the beginning of May to the end of June. The caterpillar feed on various herbs, such as marjoram.
It flies during the day, especially in sunshine, and frequents rough downland, pastures and similar grassy places. Adult Black-veined moths are white in colour with black veins that are more obvious on the underside of the wings. Females differ from males in that they have slightly shorter wings and thicker, shorter bodies .
I do not know the butterflies and that I see for the first time. The view from both sides is quite interesting. Perfectly taken these butterlies.
