Recently I read that a strange species appeared in Poland – the golden jackal. Yesterday, before dusk, my wife and I went to our river Sidra to observe nature. As usual, we managed to see several roe deer in various places in the meadows. Suddenly, through binoculars, my wife saw an animal similar in color and shape to a fox, but with much longer legs. We were free to watch for a few minutes. Then I noticed another one. They both looked like they were looking for some prey. Unfortunately, I was unable to photograph them. Below is a photo of the area where we saw jackals.
