This is the last autumn mushrooming. It is the last day of October, there were no frosts and you can find autumn mushrooms in the forest. It is difficult to search, because fallen leaves hide them. When you know their environment, you can collect a little. We met a new mushroom “cauliflower fungus” for the first time. Although I have been a mushroom picker for 68 years, I have not met him with us so far. We didn’t take him. We left it to multiply for the future.
In late autumn, not many species of edible mushrooms are found in our forest. I even found a noble mushroom – Boletus edulis, which does not like the cold. Even if you do not pick mushrooms, it is very pleasant and healthy to take a walk in the forest when the weather is favorable.
