Beavers are hardworking. There is a culvert on the road from Różanystok to the village of Grzebienie. A stream flows under it. Every year beavers try to build a dam here. Sometimes they succeed for a short time. But people get in the way and break it. The beavers are rebuilding again. Recently, however, a high dam was built. Beavers raised it to a height of 1.5 meters. So far no one has broken it. A beautiful pool has formed among the alders. They are visited by ducks and small birds.
