The first Painted Lady

Yesterday I was on short trip with my old bike and obviously my camera in the bug. When I was coming back saw on sandy road first time this year Painted Lady. I managed to take out camera and to take a few shots. Although light in this moment wasn’t good but photos are pretty good.

I found it on surface of the asphalt road. It’s very huge about 6-7 cm. This photo taken when insect was in a jar. As you see hardly hold on the bottom. When I’ve caught even afraid if it can bite me.
