April was a chilly month. We do not have the welcome to spring until the beginning of May. In nature, there has been a spring awakening for a long time. There is little greenery, so it is not visible. Many birds have not yet returned from their wintering grounds. It wasn’t until May 1 that I heard the cuckoo. Two days earlier we received barn swallows. Here in our neighborhood, spring always comes later. I am posting some photos from the Narew River near the bridge in the village of Ploski. The river has flooded and it looks beautiful.
