Winter came with heavy snow. It is becoming increasingly difficult for birds to find food. They need our help. Many people feed birds. Little birds come to the feeders every day. They check if there is anything to eat. The most numerous are tits and sparrows. It is very pleasant to observe them at the feeders. Other guests appear from time to time: a woodpecker, a greenfinch. There are a few blackbirds hanging around, but they don’t come close to the feeders.
On sunny days, the winter landscape is stunning. Just dress well and go for a walk. Fortunately, we don’t have any major frosts. How long will winter last? In our climate, it sometimes ended abruptly. There would be a long thaw and the snow would disappear in the middle of winter. Below are some photos.
