Today the starlings have arrived, it will be spring. Although we’ve had frosts here recently, and they’re already here. First, these are a few groups. Then more of them come. I really like these birds in the spring from my childhood. I watched them on a very old willow with a few hollows. First they sit high and whistle from time to time. Starlings look for holes in old trees or nesting boxes. It will be a good few weeks for them to pair up. Then their singing becomes different, cheerful and diverse. There are quarrels about where to live. I also built a few boxes and hung them on old trees. There live starlings in sheds and hollows.
