The beaver forest is difficult to reach. In summer, mud and water can be seen from afar. Only in winter, when strong ice forms, can almost the entire area be explored. Lots of sunken and dead trees. Beavers have built several barrages. More and more of the forest is covered with water. This year, I noticed that a stork had built a nest on a broken alder trunk. A pair of cranes have had a habitat here for several years. Their cry is heard in the morning for several kilometers.
